History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.
