History: Gifted from a young age, Chad studied abroad. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Chad was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Lewis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Norman was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He tends to his Bowyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
