History: Chad was born the youngest of three triplets. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rolf was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Carpenter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
