Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Knight, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Adam's homeland. Adam decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. The war was a terrible time for him, and Everard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. He's also a talented Barkeep, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Slave Trader responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Balimaar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
