History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He now mingles about in high society.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

History: Born in the south to a Weaver, Cory learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
