Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He became a Tanner soon after.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'0" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears tattered old clothes. He wears his black hair down. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ernest grew up listening to his mother's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his daughter
