History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Engraver, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
