History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sculptor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality
