History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sculptor and was forced into it by his family; and retire the richest man in the south
