However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He dresses like a well dressed Layabout does. He has a blonde handlebar mustache and slicked back blonde hair. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nicholas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by his family; and wants to work out more often

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents enrolled him in a Barbarian school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Dyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born in the north to a Marshal, Gilbert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult.
