History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Norman grew up listening to his father's many stories. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.
