History: Charles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mason. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He got into the Sellsword business at a young age. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Randal alone in the world.
