History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Patrick took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Banker. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and expand his business

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after William was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
