History: Gifted from a young age, Frederick studied abroad. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Geoffrey was born the youngest of three triplets. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Born in the east to a Beggar, Thomas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
