History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
