History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Charles was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Charles's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
