Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears his golden hair down. This hazel eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: Bernard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a tattered pair of loose tan pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He takes great joy in being the best Carpenter in town.
History: He got into the Carpenter business at a young age. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He's also a talented Barrister, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: To be a Barrister again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He carries a battered monstrous two handed axe and tarnished shield as well. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Theodoric liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to be a marshal again

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his falchion with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His eyes are likewise hazel.
Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
