His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Alex is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Kody was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
