History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He became a Shoemaker soon after.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Bernard was born with his mother's beautiful face. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
