Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting brigands, the young Aldous began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Wymar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He bought a greataxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
