Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He became a Scribe soon after.

History: Dustin hails from a village terrorized by drow. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bookbinder.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gifted student he started as a Engraver, but he got bored and became a Detective. He has worked as a Detective like his mother before him.

Motivation: To be a Engraver again; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and is wearing a long, black cloak. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His red hair is thinning but still full. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Hugh was born the youngest of three triplets. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
