Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Chad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spice Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and balancing his hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult
