Thomas Barlow, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He typically wears brown cloth garments or leather armor. He wears a deerstalker hat to hide his balding. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. The war was a terrible time for him, and Thomas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Thomas reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thomas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Ideals: Athletic, Fighting. Flaws: Depressed. Bonds: Military, Mentor. Occupation: Detective

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Nicholas took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands.
