History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Dilettante, but he got bored and became a Dyer. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Guy was born the youngest of three triplets. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
