Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Gerald took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He's also a talented Locksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a Knight, his father struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born in a small desert village. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
