Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He works hard and plays hard.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roland was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He carries a battered kukri and tarnished hammer as well. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. William fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: This man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his left hand. His long silver hair reaches down to his waist. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: Hugh is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He is wearing a tight tan one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Gerard was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Manfred is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Manfred was born the youngest of three triplets. A gifted student he started as a Dilettante, but he got bored and became a Assassin. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
