History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Jocelyn was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by his family; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Stylist but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Hunter was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Hunter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Hunter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
