History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
