History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Roger and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Roger discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Roger fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Kody lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Hunter, but he got bored and became a Banker. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, Conrad was taken on many hunting expeditions. He found a children's book about a Human Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
