Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. A true patriot, Gerard would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Aldous was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now owns his own business.
