History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. William was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
