History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ploughman for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spice Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Spice Merchant like his mother before him.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears baggy grey pantaloons and a brown scarf, marred by beers. His hair is black and curly. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: This malnourished man is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, yellow shirt, and white tie. His head has been shaved. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Roger reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This southern man wears skinny pants and wears a grey and blue robe with the hood down. His clothes are grease stained in places. He wears a colorful flower in his golden hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and wants to raise his children well
