He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
