History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Gerard was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Layabout. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: The child of a Barkeep, who enjoyed hunting, Richard was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, William grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair is long and unkept. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Manfred embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. After coming to the age of reason, Manfred took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
