Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Jocelyn's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Arnold and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
