History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gifted student he started as a Hunter, but he got bored and became a Blacksmith. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Lewis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sailor.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. A true patriot, Dustin would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, William grew up listening to his mother's many stories. William abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His childhood dream was to be a Armorer, but he was a colossal failure. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
