Simon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Simon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Gerard was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He's also a talented Knight, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Dilettante. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to prove his worth to the world
