Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything.
