Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Arnold was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Doctor, but he got bored and became a Bowyer. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality
