Diggory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Diggory and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Frederick was born the youngest of three triplets. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and further expansion of business
