History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Cory was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Marshal. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Godfrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
