Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gunter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Hubert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: Lewis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to be a mason again
