History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a Courier, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barrister work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barrister work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
