He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He keeps his white hair in a flapper bob. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Rolf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing green cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. He carries a battered monstrous two handed axe and tarnished crossbow as well. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Robert hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Robert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: John was born with his father's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and wants his loneliness to end
