History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: Cory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
