History: He is a Hag in disguise. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Jeweler. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: He was born into a rich family. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
