History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Gerald was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Brewer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, John has worked very hard to control his curse. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
