History: He was raised in a plains tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. William was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Slave Trader. He now mingles about in high society.
