Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Barkeep arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Clerebold was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
