His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his broad white hat.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is content; and to end his boredom
Ideals: Opinionated. Flaws: Ugly, Antagonistic, Mundane. Bonds: Immigrant. Occupation: Interpreter

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his longsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. His golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Peter hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Peter began to lead the lost caravan. He has worked as a Cartwright like his father before him.

Personal [hide]
Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
